American Crew recommends Precision Blend 15 Volume Developer in order to produce optimal results for grey blending. Use in conjunction with American Crew Precision Blend Shades: Light, Medium Ash, Medium Natural and Dark.

Precision Blend grey blending service does not require a special visit to the salon, with embarrassing foils, long waits at the shampoo bowl, and other things that sometimes make men nervous.

You can up-sell and provide the entire service during a standard haircut appointment.

Most of the techniques can be performed in less than four minutes and the colour needs just five minutes to process on the hair.

How to use: 

1. Wash and cut hair.
2. Choose a shade of American Crew® Precision Blend that matches your clients natural hair colour. Perform a quick allergy test according to the warnings on the colour product.
3. Mix the developer in a 1:1 ratio with the chosen Precision Blend Shade in a colour bowl. In general, about 20 mL/0.68oz of colour will be needed to complete the service on a client with hair that is 1 inch long.
4. Choose from the four American Crew® techniques, based on the texture and length of your clients hair. Each of the techniques can be used with light, medium or heavy product application to provide 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% grey blending.
5. For a natural look, allow grey to peek out at key areas such as sideburns and temples. Perform each technique efficiently, trying to keep the application time under four minutes.
