The product is of purely Estonian origin. The black swallow has been harvested from Estonian forests and garlic has been grown, fermented and dried in Estonia as well. The black garlic added to the Ecosh product is made from pure garlic. No plant protection products or artificial fertilizers have been used in the cultivation. Garlic is cooked for about 3 weeks at low temperature and high humidity. When ripe, the garlic cloves turn black, hence the name Black Garlic.
